What is Nail Reconstruction?
Nail reconstruction is a way of reconstructing a nail to look and feel exactly like a normal nail. Pedisafe is a specialised treatment to be used while treating damaged, thickened or fungal nails. The reconstructed nail will look and feel just like the natural nail and will give the nail a healthy appearance while you are treating the fungal nail using other methods. It can also be cut, filed and painted or left to look natural.
Pedisafe transforms and enhances damaged nails that may look unsightly into the healthy-looking nail. It is a vegan and cruelty-free product and also contains antifungal and antimicrobial agents which can help prevent fungal nail infections. These nails generally last around 6 weeks.
Toenails can easily become damaged by trauma, sports, footwear, lifestyle, fungal infections and sometimes improper nail care. When they become damaged, they can become discoloured and may grow back thicker or uneven which can make individuals feel self-conscious.
Am I suitable for nail reconstruction?
Most people are suitable for Pedisafe; however, there are a few exceptions.
At your appointment we will be able to assess your nail and tell you if you are suitable for the treatment.
Unfortunately, if you are pregnant, you cannot have nail reconstruction.
